His reactions to the unfolding wizarding world and the extraordinary events around him provide genuine comedic moments and relatable audience perspective. Katherine Waterston and Alison Sudol also deliver compelling performances as sisters who become entangled in Newt’s fantastical adventure.
However, the true stars of Fantastic Beasts are undeniably the creatures themselves. While some CGI aspects might appear slightly artificial, the sheer creativity and imaginative designs of these beasts more than compensate. Each creature boasts unique quirks and personalities, making them far from generic.
