Following the thrilling Olympic Games, the spirit of competition continues with the 2024 Paralympic Games in Paris. Starting with the Opening Ceremony on Wednesday, August 28th, and culminating in the Closing Ceremony on Sunday, September 8th, this 16th edition promises 11 days of incredible athleticism and inspiring stories. Over 4,000 elite athletes from more than 150 nations will compete across 22 dynamic sports, showcasing the pinnacle of para-sport.
For the first time, the Paralympic broadcast will feature hosts from multiple locations. Andrea Joyce and Lacey Henderson, a Paralympic track and field athlete from 2016, will be reporting live from the Team USA House. Adding to the expert commentary, Sophie Morgan, a disability advocate and co-founder of Making Space & Making Space Media, will team up with five-time Paralympic gold medalist Chris Waddell and seasoned Olympics and Paralympics host Carolyn Manno from NBC Sports HQ in Stamford, CT.
