Xur’s operations have been updated with The Final Shape and its episodes. He now sells two rotating Exotic weapon catalysts each week, focusing on older catalysts that were previously random drops before The Witch Queen expansion. It’s important to note that he will not offer catalysts tied to quests, Exotic missions, Season Pass Exotics, campaign Exotics, preorder Exotics, raid Exotics, or dungeon Exotics.
In addition to Hawkmoon, Xur will have three other random Exotic weapons for sale each week. He continues to offer Legendary armor and weapons, as well as Strange Engrams that can decrypt into any item from those loot pools. Similar to other vendors, Xur now has a reputation track. Spending Strange Coins increases your rank, earning you reputation rewards, including an Exotic Cipher upon each rank reset.
Furthermore, Xur’s loyalty program activates after spending 47 Strange Coins, granting you the Strange Favor buff. This buff lasts for 11 days and can stack up to three times (once per week), increasing your chances of earning bonus Strange Coins from activities that reward this currency. Xur appears every weekend in Destiny 2, arriving with the daily reset at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET each Friday.
