Where Can I Print for Free? Your Guide to On-Campus Printing Locations

Printing on campus just got easier and more affordable! Cabrillo College is now offering free printing and copying to all students at all campus printing locations. Forget about digging for change or worrying about print credits – accessing hard copies of your study materials is now seamless and completely free of charge. This guide will walk you through how to utilize this fantastic service and pinpoint exactly where can you print on campus.

How to Access Free Printing Services

To start printing or copying, you’ll need your student network account login details, the same credentials you use for Canvas. You’ll use these to access any campus computer workstation. Unfortunately, direct wireless printing from personal laptops or phones isn’t currently supported.

Once you’re at a campus workstation, follow these simple steps each time you need to print:

  1. Select the print option for your document.
  2. When prompted by the Equitrac printing system, log in using your network username and password. This is the same login you use for Canvas, myCabrillo, and campus Wi-Fi.

Keep in mind a few helpful tips for efficient and environmentally conscious printing:

  • For single print jobs, the maximum page limit is 30 pages single-sided or 15 pages double-sided.
  • For larger documents, simply send your print job in multiple segments.
  • Let’s be mindful of paper consumption! Only print what you genuinely need to help minimize waste. Avoid printing entire books at once, for example.
  • Need color prints? Color printing is available at the CTC locations on both the Aptos and Watsonville campuses.

Before finalizing your print job, a dialog box will appear showing the total number of pages. Wait for this box to finish calculating before clicking “Accept.” Once you click “Accept”, your print job is sent, and it’s ready for you to pick up promptly at the printer.
