Early Voting offers a fantastic opportunity to cast your ballot at a time and place that works best for you. Understanding Where Is My Early Voting Location is the first step to making your voice heard conveniently and efficiently. In Duval County, early voting sites are carefully selected to be voter-friendly and accessible, while fully adhering to Florida election laws.
As a registered voter in Duval County, you have the flexibility to vote at any early voting location that is open. This means you are not restricted to a specific polling place based on your residential address during the early voting period.
For added convenience, secure ballot intake stations, commonly known as drop boxes, are available inside every early voting site listed. These drop boxes provide a safe and official way to deposit your vote-by-mail ballot in person.
Prefer Not to Mail Your Vote-By-Mail Ballot?
If you’ve requested a vote-by-mail ballot but prefer not to send it through the mail, you have options. You can personally drop off your completed ballot at the Supervisor of Elections office during regular office hours. Alternatively, you can utilize any early voting site during their operating hours to return your ballot. It’s crucial to remember that all ballots must be received by the Supervisor of Elections office no later than 7 p.m. on Election Day to be counted. Even on Election Day, our office remains open until 7 p.m. to accept ballots.
Utilizing the ExpressVote Ballot Marking Device
Early voting locations in Duval County are equipped with the ExpressVote Universal Voting System. This innovative, paper-based system uses user-friendly touch-screen technology to create a paper record of your vote, which is then used for tabulation.
