Three Convenient Ways to Print Your Documents
We offer three user-friendly methods to send your print jobs, catering to different needs and levels of file security. Choose the option that works best for you to easily print what you need, when you need it.
Method 1: Secure Web Upload
For a secure and encrypted method, use our web upload portal powered by ePRINTit. This is an excellent option for printing files directly from your computer or mobile device’s storage. Simply submit your print jobs through the web interface and proceed to pickup.
Method 2: Quick Print via Email
If file security is not a primary concern, you can conveniently print by sending your files as email attachments. This method is not encrypted, so avoid emailing highly sensitive personal information. To use email printing, send your email with attachments to the designated email address provided at the library’s website. You will receive a confirmation email with a release code to use when picking up your prints.
Method 3: Mobile App Printing
For printing on the go, download the ePRINTit Public Print Locations mobile app. This encrypted method allows you to connect to various cloud services such as Dropbox, Google Drive, and OneDrive, making it easy to print documents directly from your cloud storage.

Within the app, search for “Knox County Public Library” using the zip code 37902 to find our print provider. Selecting the library allows you to print and pick up at any of our branch locations.
Easy Pickup and Payment Process
Picking up your printed materials is simple. You can go to Lawson McGhee Library, McClung Collection, or any branch library location to present your payment and collect your printouts. Your initial print job confirmation will show an estimated total, and the final charge will be calculated upon processing – you might even save if color pages are printed in black and white!
For email print jobs, note that the email body and attachments are treated as separate jobs. You have the flexibility to choose not to print the email body if needed.
Important Details to Enhance Your Printing Experience
Keep these details in mind for a smoother printing process:
- Ensure your documents are not encrypted or password-protected before uploading. While upload methods offer encryption during transfer, email printing does not.
- A library card isn’t required to use the printing service, but it can serve as a convenient ID for your print jobs.
- You can send multiple print jobs and pay for them all at once during pickup.
- All print jobs are securely deleted after 24 hours.
- Please note that duplex printing (double-sided) is not available; all prints are single-sided.
