Grass Plains SAM Node Location
The Grass Plains starting area boasts relatively easy access to a SAM node. You’ll find a Normal SAM node nestled in the twin pillar mountains region. Specifically, this node is located within a cave system beneath the distinctive upside-down V-shaped mountain formation.
Navigating this cave requires some preparation. Be aware of poisonous flora that emits harmful gases; equipping a Gas Mask is highly recommended to mitigate the toxic effects. Additionally, a large Stinger creature guards the SAM node, so be prepared for combat. Ensure you have a clear path for both descent and ascent within the cave to safely secure your SAM.

Rocky Desert SAM Node Location
If you choose the Rocky Desert as your starting location, a SAM node is conveniently located nearby. Head to the pillar-bridge area of the Rocky Desert. The SAM node is situated in a small, open area beneath a prominent rock formation resembling a bridge.
Exercise caution when approaching this node. The area is populated with poisonous plants and nests of Hatchers. Clearing these threats before attempting to collect the SAM is advisable to ensure a safe retrieval process.

Northern Forest SAM Node Location
The Northern Forest starting zone also offers early SAM access, though it requires a bit more effort to reach. The SAM node is hidden within a cave. To find the entrance, locate the area near two waterfalls that cascade into the large central lake within the Northern Forest. The cave entrance is situated close to these waterfalls.
Upon entering the cave, you’ll encounter destructible rocks blocking your path. Utilize Nobelisks to clear these obstacles and proceed further into a smaller cave chamber below. Be mindful of a Stinger lurking in the initial cave area; eliminate this threat before deploying Nobelisks to ensure safety.

Dune Desert SAM Node Location
For Pioneers starting in the Dune Desert, a SAM node is located in the northern region of this biome. Navigate to a rock formation situated near the river. On this formation, you’ll discover a small crevice concealed by destructible rocks.
Employ Nobelisks to remove the rock blockage and enter the opening, which leads into a cave system. Inside this cave, be prepared to engage with Stingers. After dealing with these creatures, you’ll need to use additional Nobelisks to break through another set of destructible rocks to finally access the SAM node.
