From the South on I-64 or I-75
(Note: I-64 and I-75 merge just south of Georgetown, KY)
- Follow I-64 or I-75 South to Exit 113 (marked Paris/Lexington).
- Turn right off the exit ramp onto North Broadway (US 68).
- Continue on North Broadway through downtown Lexington for approximately 3 miles.
- One block past the Hyatt Regency Hotel, turn left at the traffic light onto Maxwell Street.
At this point, depending on your specific destination within the University of Kentucky campus:
- To Main Campus: Turn right onto Upper Street and follow until Upper Street merges with Limestone. Make an immediate left onto Administration Drive for access to the central campus area.
- To Memorial Coliseum: At the 5th traffic light on Maxwell Street after turning from Broadway, turn right onto Rose Street. At the next light, turn right again. Memorial Coliseum will be just past Papa John’s on your right.
- To Aquatic and Seaton Centers: Also at the 5th traffic light on Maxwell Street, turn right onto Rose Street. Continue through three traffic lights. After the third light, turn left onto Huguelet Street. At the stop sign, turn right onto University Drive. Turn left at the first road, which is Complex Drive. The Kirwan and Blanding dorm complex will be on your left, and Seaton Center and Lancaster Aquatic Center on your right.
From the South and Southwest on Bluegrass Parkway
- Follow the Bluegrass Parkway to Lexington.
- Turn right off the parkway ramp onto Route 60 (Versailles Road).
- Follow Versailles Road until it becomes a one-way street, which is West Maxwell Street.
